Had a few trips on this in the mid 90s - very pleasant too.

The AH001 was created by converting a semisub, I think the Sedco Phillips SS, in the dry dock at Highland Fabricators, Nigg, Scotland around 1987. I remember the conversion was carried out in the summer, and the rotting marine life stank horrendously as it dried out in the sun.

She was converted at McNultys Quay. By Charlton Leslie Offshore. I worked on her and then went out on the hook up in 1989. She has just returned to Mcnultys today 20.07.2009. For a re-fit
