i think it was in 1982,pictured here in the sub assembly were left to right johnny mcknight, "me"(cant remember the guy in the middle,dementia crept in ) and jimmy smythe.
i went up to kishorn for the mating up and done 6months preventitive maintainence.once it was floated out i worked on "the maureen" for the 1st oil coming aboard and thereafter for 3years .great memories.if anybody can put a name to the guy in the middle ,he came from kilbirnie

My dad Stevie shedden was a scaffolder on the hex
