Base of the Dunlin Platform

Shell's Dunlin platform is a concrete based structure. The base weighs over 225,000 tonnes and can store up to 838,000 barrels of oil. Production started in August 1978 with oil going by pipeline to Cormorant Alpha and then by Brent System pipeline to Sullom Voe, Shetland. She can be seen in position in picture #203.

Anyone got any construction photos showing steel makeup in legs or termination of risers at subsea end?

This isn't Dunlin Alpha; Dunlin A is 9*9 cells and the shaft taper is much steeper.

It was a lot of this condeep at Stord that time. Aker together with Norwegian contractors have made a lot of them. Those were the days, sad but true. In Stavanger at the main site for this condeeps are today appartement houses.
