This is the drilling rig "ISTIGLAL" run by GSF, I was on it for 18 months.

I dont think that is the Istiglal, the derrick is much larger on the Istiglal, this thing here is made of pipe.

Could be the Shelf 5 (now the Istiglal) before conversion in 1998, or it could be the Shelf 1 or 3, both in Shekova Bay, 10kms south of Baku, waiting for conversion!!!!
