LB-200 - Laying bargeLB-200 was used to lay the vast gas pipeline from Norway to Easington in England.
The gas is exported via a 1,200 km long pipeline, Langeled, from Nyhamna in Norway via Sleipner to Easington in England. The pipeline consists of 100 000 fittings that are welded together at a speed of four miles per day and laid on the seabed with incredible precision. Among other things, a million tonnes of steel and a million tonnes of concrete agreed.
Through the wire get the British up to 20 percent of its total gas needs for decades to come. Britain is the most important market for the Ormen Lange gas, but also Scandinavia and continental Europe will need more gas.

Apparently on its way back to Norway they lost all power and the tow lines and it was touch and go whether they were going to scuttle it as it was heading towards a large platform, luckily they got the towlines back and it was taken to a ffiord near Bergen
Correct me if I am wrong.
