I was there during the hook up of Sabratha Platform in Mediteranian Sea Nov.2004 to April 2005 as a E/I QC Inspector by GPS Saipem.

This ship is currently located at the KeppelVerolme shipyard in the Netherlands. It is undergoing maintenance on multiple things, but mainly the legs. They are repainting them and repairing dents etcetera. Also some new equipment is being installed on deck. I have been on-board last week, when some sea-men asked me onboard for a cup of coffee.

I worked on this July to November 1999 and it was being converted into a pipe laying vessel at Verome Bottlec in Europort, never have you seen such a mass of Engineering in one place !!!!

i am currently working right next to this rig, we are working on the dock doin the foundations for the new rig thats being built in the same dock by keppel

Worked on it also in Rotterdam, did it make it as far as Dover. The welding on that job was done by a decent squad in all conditions, good memories of Rotterdam.
